Our Story

My name is Anne Gegg, and I am a Senior Music Therapist and the founder of True North Music.  Jefferson County is where I grew up and where I planted my roots.  I am so thankful to live and work here.

 

I've always understood that finding your "true north" meant finding your true love. But as I read more about it, I learned that your "true north" is your inner sense, or your calling, of what you want to accomplish in your life. Its a combination of your values, beliefs, and purpose.  When you find your true north, you discover your authentic self.  You decide what you value most in life and put that at the forefront.  I decided that Jesus is my True North, my compass, and I put God at the forefront of my life, my family and my business. 

 

One morning I prayed for a sign from God that "True North" was the name that was to be chosen for my business. While driving on interstate 55, I got my answer when a semi drove past me with a picture of a compass and in giant lettering the business name "True North Logistics." And so True North Music was born!
